About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting.  I am a lifetime sewist, having learned from my sister when I was in 6th grade.  My first paid jobs were in 9th grade making Hawaiian shirts and I volunteered with my home economics class to make chorus show vests that year.

In 2020, I joined the mask making initiative and personally donated 1700 masks. As soon as that ended, memory bears became the focus, quickly followed by memory pillows.

I also specialize in weddings and alterations of both bridal gowns, mother of bride and bridesmaids dresses and men’s suits.  I do a lot of custom embroidery and T-shirt quilts are my favorite.  Any size, and each is created special - Not cookie cutter 12 inch blocks unless that is your request.  Baby milestones, bridal party and corporate gifts are available and business apparel is popular too.

I love repurposing and my favorite message starts with, “have you ever....”

Need a cover for your therapy horse vest?  That’s me.  Want it made from an heirloom wedding  train?  Ok.  Have a christening gown made from a WW2 silk parachute that needs mending?  That’s me too.
What's under the needle today?  Stay tuned!
